My husband has to leave on business for a week...how do I prepare...
my 15 month old son for this. He is very attached to his daddy and gets upset if Daddy isn't home from work when he wakes up from his afternoon nap. My Dh has to be gone for a week in November and two weeks in Jan. How can I get my son ready for this?
Sorry for all the questions so early Monday morning, but thank you all for your help. |

As a regional sales manager, I travel M-F three weeks a month. I've been doing this for a year now. My son and I started talking about how many night-nights before Daddy would be home. He was 27 mos old when I started traveling. It seemed to work then, and he completely understands now. I also leave him a chalk-mail message before I leave, and we talk on the phone every night that I am away. I hope this helps anyone in this situation.
