How do I get my foster son (4 yrs old) to poop in the potty? He simply won't do it consistently. Peeing, no problem, but....
HELP!!

I'm using a reward system. My FD likes suckers, so she knows if she poops on the potty she gets a sucker. A chart with stickers can work too. Rewards they really, really want are a great incentive.

We have a poo poo dance to get all the children in the home involved. We spin around singing 'poo poo on the potty' a couple times and then yell arh!~ at the end and do a thing like hulk hogan used to. Everyone gets several M&M's after we are done. They all have fun with it. I'm sure he will catch on. The older they get the harder it can be to change a behavior. Good luck!
