When? A celebration of our LO's growth.

When did your hands become toddler hands?
When did you learn to dance?
When did you start feeding the dog one bite after each bite you took?
When did you fall in love with angel hair pasta?
When did you learn to hug me and call me "naaaanaaa"
When did you start thinking that people where funny (giggles when she sees people in the grocery store)
When did you learn to sing? (sings in her rear facing car seat without the radio...but louder with it)
When did you completely and entirely......steal my heart?

The answer. The day you were placed in my arms....and even more....everyday after.

I would love to learn what made your heart soar as a parent....the moments when you began to see your little one grow up. (everyone one who is a parent please share....first parents, adoptive parents, bio parents, step parents....and parents my, still sleep deprived mind, may have left out.....celebrate them....becoming THEM and the wonder of their childhood.

This is a celebration of our little one's milestones and accomplishments. Any child....special needs, newly adopted, just born, recently one year old, recently going to preschool etc....any challenge overcome...celebrate them (and you :-) getting through it.

IT seems that each day I just stare in wonder at our son. He is so amazing! Some days, I miss his tiny, newborn little self. But yet I so love his current stage - stuck somewhere between my itty bitty baby and this independence-yearning toddler.

This week, my big boy is really hamming it up. He is just too cute! He loves to play in my hair. I've taken to wearing it up since he was born, mainly just to keep it out of my way. The other day, I had it down out of a ponytail for a while, and he came up behind me, grabbed a mass of it in his hands, and laid his head next to mine while making the sweetest, loving cooing noises. He did this many, many times.

I love him, because he loves my hair. Because he shows his love for us in the most adorable ways!

That is so beautiful Stork :-) Today my little one dumped a bowl of pasta on her head. Can I say proud....or what? The best moment was picking alphabets out of her curly hair and off her face. :-)
