Thumbs up Poem I wrote for school about my b-mom

This poem is called True Love, and I wrote it for an English assignment ... we had to write a poem, and this just came out. I know it's not great, but it expresses how I feel.

Her love for me is immeasurable;
The amount cannot be expressed.
At times I sit and think of her
When I feel a bit depressed.

She wished for me to have a better life
Than the one she had to have;
Life with two parents, in a loving home,
Where I could be a kid and laugh.

She knew she could not give me that,
And unselfishly let me go
To people whom she had never met
And whose names she could not know.

I know that she still loves me,
And should we ever meet
Would open her arms to me and say,
"This makes my life complete."

Smile beautiful poem...

I just wanted to let you know that as a birth mother your poem touched me deeply. You are very gifted and have a true talent.

I pray everyday that my daughter feels the same way and I can't wait to meet her and tell her how much I love her. I do hope you find your mother and that your poem comes true.

God Bless
Lorie

Betsy Poem

I wrote this for the daughter I gave up for adoption in 1977.May of 2002 we were renuited. She was glad I made the choice I did. To give you up , to let you go, apart of me will die I know. But to keep you would be so unfair, I hope you know I'll always care. People they can be oh so cruel, I can't let that hurt be put upon you. For it was a mistake that I have made, and you must never take the blame. So as you live through out your life, I hope you feel what I did was right. No I know what is best. and I know what I must do, so now I say goodbye to you.

As a bmom who gave her child the best chance she knew, your poem has really touched my soul. My son will be 15 very soon and I hope he feels as you do, it would mean so much to me. If you want to talk, lorelei2003@houston.rr.com. I am available whenever the need arises.

God Bless You,
Rachel
