Michelle was my birth name. Thank you so much to my birth parents for giving me life. I was born at Sibley Memorial Hospital in Washington D.C., and weighed about 3lbs because I was born about 2 months early. Dad said he and Mom visited me in the hospital, and that he named me, "Vyvyanne" because the name means "filled with life." My adoptive parents were Paul & Rita Crabtree. I love them, and I know they loved me, but they did not want to share me with a birth family while they were alive. I wish they could have understood that there has always been enough love in my heart for both families. My name at the time of adoption was Vyvyanne Louise Crabtree. I am now happily married to Steve Gilliland, and our son, Paul, is 14 years old. I'm grateful to be a mother, and very grateful to my birthparents for giving me life. I want to know more about my medical history, and to hopefully reunite with any members of my birth family. Information about my birth family will hopefully fill the empty place waiting for them in my heart.
