Hello!
We just switched officially to Thailand.
(Even our agency admitted that the China line could go beyond 4 years and that Thailand was a safer bet at 2 1/2 years untill travel.)
Just wondering about something; If you could tell me something that I needed to know about adopting from Thailand, what would it be?
We are still waiting for our homestudy but were told it would be in the first half of January.. (Getting a bit nervous..)
Is there anybody else here?

We have submitted our dossier and are waiting to hear if Thailand is going to accept us. As we research ways to bring the culture into our family, we are finding very little information. Everything Asian is geared toward China, Vietnam, Korea, or Cambodia. The wait time is difficult, but everything I have seen suggests that Thailand cares very much about their children, which is what drew me to the country. They do say to expect a boy, and to expect longer wait times if you specifically ask for a girl.
