adopting tsunami orphans
My name is Gillian Flaccus and I am a reporter with The Associated Press. I am based in Los Angeles. I am writing a story about Americans who were interested in adopting children who were orphaned by the tsunami in South Asia and would be interested to hear if anyone out there has any experiences/hopes/thoughts to share. I am learning through my reporting that it is unlikely most of those children will be adopted for a number of reasons. Anyone can contact me at gflaccus@ap.org.
