I am in the process of doing this in Brazoria county and actually should have our final hearing in the next couple of weeks. I got all my documents through reliableadoption.com They were extremely helpful and they walked me through everything. It was pretty much like having a lawyer. They correct any forms or add any additional forms that the court needs at no extra cost. It cost a little over 300 for them I believe. I know it seems like a big chunk of change but it saves you the stressful hours in the law library and saves you cash if you don't get the adoption because of a paperwork technicality. They provided all of our forms and actually we had to add a military affidavit (stating that to our knowlegde he is not in the military) and they just e-mailed it to me within hours. They were always providing me with encouragement and did not get annoyed at my 1000 questions. If you need any help with this process feel free to ask because it has taken us 8 months and were just now finally getting a hearing lol so we are praying that we complete this adoption! Hope this information was helpful.
