no birth father question
My husband and I have been married for almost a year and we have started looking into him adopting my 4 year old daughter. I don't know who the father is and there is no name on the birth certificate. How would we go about the the adoption process? Any help would be nice. I know it doesn't sound like a great situation but I was young and stupid at the time. My husband is the only father my daughter has ever know and we want to get her name changed to his before she starts school and we have to explain why she has a differant last name then daddy.
