Pro se adoption

I would like to adopt my stepson pro se with out going through the Pro-Se Publications website. Our budget is limited and we have paralrgal help within the family. If I could find the forms for Collin County, I'm sure it would be a snap. The biological father is (and has been) out of the picture and with a newborn and another on on the way, my stepson (9 y.o.) is feeling different with the different last name. If anyone could help locating the necessary forms, I would really appreciate it. I'm going to head down to the Collin County Law Library, but am not sure what I am looking for.
Thanks for any help,
Bill
