Medicaid/Subsidy
Has anyone adopted from foster and got to keep their kids on medicaid? I did but for the life of me I can't get her name changed to her legal name. This is over two years that I have had all paperwork in hand to change it and nothing.
Can someone tell me who to contact? Each office sends me to another.

I adopted our daughter from Indiana & it took me a little while to get her name changed but our caseworker was the one that I contacted & it finally got taken care of..
On the other hand, I have an adoptive placement from Texas here right now & we get adoption subsidy while waiting on the 6month period to adopt. She kept her medicaid and my state issued it in her new 'adopted' name. Good luck!
