I am a bit confused our case worker called us on July 6 and told us that our home study was approved and that she had a brother and a sister in mind for us if we were interested on them so that she could contact there case worker to get the necessary information on the children up to this date we have not heard from her and we are afraid to call and ask since she sounds upset when we call her on the 10 and she said that she did not have any information my husband called her last week and got upset told him that she had not called for the reason that she had not received the information. Are we doing wrong by calling her we feel that she is playing with our feelings . Do you think that I am exaggerating ? How long does it take to know if you’re the right candidates for the children ?

I'm not from that region, but it can takes weeks (min of 6 wks for most), if not months, before you hear if you were selected for kids.
We've submitted our H.S on several kids, and only 1 have we heard back on, and that was because we knew the adoption workers info. And even that took us about 5 months before we learned anything. Forgot to add, they can receive many many homestudies. They have to review each of them and select the 'best' fit for the kids. These select ones, then can get sent to the GAL, who then picks the one she feels is the best fit.

It absolutely can take a while to get information back. Your caseworker is not necessarily playing with your emotions, although I don't see why a couple phone calls would cause any upset. You may want to ask your caseworker how she prefers to be contacted. She may like email over phone calls for example. Hang in there. The right kiddos for you will find you. It is so hard to wait. Good luck.
