Training question

Can anyone tell me where I can get CPR and First aid training in the DFW area at a reasonable price? Thanks!

No. but you can get it online. Here in Houston, it runs 25-50 dollars.

Have you tried the CPS training schedule- Foster parents have to do that class yearly so CPS often offers it. OR the Red Cross. OR the YMCA.

Good luck

You can try searching for Foster Parent Assocations. Sometimes they offer them pretty reasonable.

Does your agency not cover it? We just did ours today and it was covered by the agency and the class was held there. If not, American Red Cross and alot of other community org's offer it. Good luck!

We went through the ymca. It's a bit more expensive than some other places, but it's what worked with our schedule.

Alot of the times you can call the emt station and ask them. We did and we found a certified paramedic that came to our home and did ours for 30 dollars each. Convenient! Good luck!
