CCMS - how does it work

Does anyone know how CCMS works? I work full time from home, have flexible hours, and am self employed. My husband also works full time outside the home.

Do we have to show proof we work full time in order to get daycare paid from the state? I am really only needing part time care, occasionally in the mornings, just to get some work done uninterrupted. But I wasn't sure what the protocal is for how you get it, or how you qualify.

Thanks for your comments!

Contact your worker and your child's worker right away if you're interested in CCMS. When I checked on it last June, I was told the funds were gone for the YEAR, but I could get on a waiting list. Foster kids are usually bumped to the top. You have to work at least 25 hrs/wk. Here's a phone number and website for more info

Ccms

I was also wondering about childcare for foster parents. I work as a teacher fulltime but I am going through the process now to become a foster Mom. I would like to foster babies, I was wondering how would daycare work, would I have to pay for it out of pocket or is there some kind of assistance.

My agency just told me we both have to work out of the home full time to qualify for CCMS...does anyone know if this is true or not?
