Question Did you see your homestudy?

I was under the impression that Texas was a state where the homestudy is not made available to families fostering/adopting through CPS. Another TX family did see their homestudy and had opportunities to make corrections before it was turned in.

What has your experience been? Anyone know the legal details?

I didn't see ours...but I also didn't think to ask. It seems we're not allowed to know what they write or say.
Now, I did get a copy of the one from our CA agency. When we moved they gave me a copy of it since it's good throughout the US, just needs to be updated once you move somewhere else.

I didn't ask to see the one done here in Texas. I did see the one from California when I signed all the legal papers for my daughter's adoption. It was included in all of the papers I got on adoption day.

My HS was done by a private agency. I was asked to inspect it for accuracy before printing and given a copy of the final "product".
