It has been crazy here trying to finalize everything for the boys 1st visit this weekend. We are ready to head to the airport tomorrow evening to meet them. We get them for the weekend and they will fly back to Houston 8am Sun morning However they will be HOME for good next Sat.

We called them tonight and they are very excited to get here and see their new home and their rooms. I told them when we were in Houston that we would wait for them to put up the tree so Sat we can finally get it up.

I cant believe we are finally getting them here but cant wait for next weekend so they can stay.

How did your visit go???

We had the best weekend...everything went great. Their flight got in about 7:30 and we were right there at the gate to meet them when they exited the plane. After the CW rented her car we headed to the house.

CW did a walk through with our CW and the boys and they left about 9pm. The boys were starving so we made some sandwiches and chips.

The boys love their rooms and the 1st night they slept together but the second night they decided to sleep in their own rooms.

The next morning DH took them to work with him and they had a blast. DH told me that one of them said.."We are doing man things" They loved the farm and helping DH.
They got home and we cooked a pizza and then started putting up the Christmas tree. They loved that getting to climb up on the ladder to put the decorations on. Barely got the tree decorated then it was time to head to town to The Ranching Heritage Center.On the way into town we drove by the school they will attend so they could get a 1st look. Got a picture of all 3 kids with Santa. spent about 1 1/2 hours walking through eating kettle corn. Then we stopped for them to write their letter to Santa and drink hot chocolate.

Then off to the Cracker Barrel Restaurant to eat. These boys are very well mannered. Not one bit of trouble. On the way home there was lots of giggles and laughter from them playing with DD in the back seat. Got everyone in bed about 11:00. I'm telling you DH and I were beat. My head hit the pillow and all I remember is DH waking me up at 5:30am Sun AM

Had pancakes for breakfast and packed them up and got to airport about 7 for their 8am flight home. They know exactly when they will be back for good and didn't let us forget it

We all had a great weekend and think these boys are wonderful and are fitting in great and I feel they feel comfortable here. DD is on the countdown of when we head to the airport to pick them up on Sat.

They are beginning to call us mom and dad and sometimes they use our names. bet within a month we will be straight mom and dad
