Were would I find a list of private Foster care agencies .
The reason I'm looking is becouse I'm rally tired of not having anyone to talk to , or when I do they make me feel like I'm just in this for the money and since I've not gotten a placement I dont see how they could act that way.
My Husband and I've been through the ring , just like most of you guys have , and we though well since one door had closed. We would walk through the one we though God had wanted us to do , but this doesnt seem to be working out either . We really just want to help , while we look for our forever family.

Here's a link to the state site with a partial list. This is by no means all the agencies in Texas. I found more by searching Google.

Before we choose an agency, I also asked to talk to other foster parents who were using the agency so I could get a better idea of how the agency worked.

Also, if you are looking for support, there should be a local chapter for your Texas Foster Parent Association. They have monthly meetings, and you get credit towards your license if you attend. Also, specific churches have support groups specifically for Foster Parents. Typically they are larger churches. Don't know where you are in Texas, but there was an article in the Dallas Morning News awhile back listing some of those churches. You may be able to find the article at Dallas Morning News | News for Dallas, Texas in archives.

Also, if you are not happy with your case worker, ask for someone else. Sometimes having a new case worker can make all the difference in the world.
