Private Preschool

Our fs is 21 months old. The termination trial was just moved from last week to July. So, we are planning to have him at least until then and hopefully be able to adopt him. My dd has gone to the preschool at our church for the last 3 years. I want to go ahead and register our fs to start preschool there next year. As long as it is state certified and I'm willing to pay the tuition, can I send him there? Registration for all preschools for next year have already started at most schools and I don't want to wait until we know for sure because the schools fill up very quickly.

Thanks for any advise!

My understanding and past experience is that that would be ok. It's just like if you were a working parent and needed daycare for your child - as long as the school/daycare has the proper credentials/licenses in place and you submit it to your sw or cw I don't see why you would have any problem. My foster children (although a little bit older) participate in various church programs such as "Kids Choir" and "Wednesday Kids night" where they are approved to attend under the supervision of the designated Church staff (but of course I always stay cause it's fun to watch them!). CPS always encourages enrichment activities and programs - you are showing a lot of forsight in the best interest of that child.
