Any Northeast area foster/respite homes?
I live in a fairly rural area about 1 hour north of Dallas. I feel like I have exausted my efforts to locate other foster parents or respite homes which have any interest of helping other foster parents. I have one friend approved for respite but she has such a busy life. When I was fostering in Calif., all of us foster parents pulled together and willingly helped each other and traded respite care between us. All the "homes" I've talked to have "0" interest. I know there's got to others like me. Thanks!
