Hi... I'm Ruby and I've been lurking here for the past 2 months and I decided just to jump in and introduce myself. I'm 27 yrs. old and dh is 30 and we just finished our Pride classes and we're waiting for our agency to schedule our homestudy. We don't have any children of our own but we have been raising my niece for the past 2 yrs. and my sister & my niece's dad have decided that they will allow dh and I to adopt her . So were now looking for a lawyer to take care of all the necessary paperwork. Anyways I hope to get know each one of you better and thanks for all the advice I've gotten over the past few months!! Oh I forgot to mention I'm in Region 11.

Welcome Ruby!!!! These boards are great for getting information from others going through the same thing. You've finished the PRIDE classes and I'm guessing you've turned in all your paperwork, so you've got the hardest part done. Once your homestudy is turned in things move pretty quickly.
