Just an Idea...

Has anyone on here thought of an exchange club of sorts....like for clothing and such. It could really come in handy in a pinch.

join freecycle for your city or even suburb. search yahoo for freecycle (insert your city)
Its a yahoo forum wher epoeple post OFFERS of stuff they dont use or need and you just respond saying you want it, they pick someon to give it to if theyget several requests, and you have to go get it and its yours. i have gotten tons of good clothes that way, bikes, a deep freezer, a patio bar set, toys, games, books, etc ITS AWESOME!!!!

There is a Yahoo group in the DFW area called DFWFPRecycle that is specifically for DFW area Foster Parents. People freecycle kid's stuff there all the time.

Mom of boys and dogs:
1 – B (husband - the biggest boy)
2 – D 6 years old, placed 3/05 at age of 2yr/10mo, TPR'd 2/06, adopted on 9/29/06!!!
3 – T 4 years old, placed 3/05 at age of 10mo, TPR'd 2/06, adopted on 9/29/06!!!
Had 18 other children placed with us during our 2 years as licensed foster parents.
We're considering getting back into Foster Care, just not sure if we are ready to deal with the system again...
