Question Lots of questions

HI, I am new to this particular forum. We have three children, two bio and one Russian. We were presented with a domestic situation in January of a child with a disability similar to our daughters, so we rushed a homestudy, then at the last minute found out that the birth mother wanted him to be an only child. The agency had neglected to tell us that, wanting to keep us in a holding pattern while they searched for a childless couple. Anyway, after that we looked at a couple of other situations that didn't pan out. Then we decided to go back to Russia, and persued another child with a similar disability to my daughter. Anyway after we started paperwork we found out he was no longer available. DH is very discouraged. I am still looking. Anyway, we are in Central Texas, so I decided to take a look at TARE. I saw two brothers that I think would fit well into our family. Our homestudy does say one or two kids up to age 8 (they are 3 and 5) and it OK's us for special needs. I filled out the interest form, but have heard nothing. What steps could I take, is there even a possibility that we could get those kids? The web site makes it sound like they are desperate for parents, but I have been reading on here about things taking forever and there being lots of parents.
I don't know what steps I should take. I have not taken the pride classes. Should I contact an agency, another thread seemed to suggest that it would be faster and better that way. I live in a very small town about an hour from Waco.
Anyway, any advice would be welcome.

If you have an agency that you are working with (if not, contact CPS directly I guess) and give them the sibling id#. They can make contact with the worker very quickly.

Going through TARE will delay everything a few weeks as the paperwork goes through it's many steps.

Good Luck!
