Voucher?
I am new to this and not licensed yet ( hopefully within the next 2 weeks). When do you get the voucher? I was under the impression that you paid up front until they reimbursed you? Sorry I am only adding to your question.

Voucher? None here!
We were promised $50 reimbursement for each child since they didn't come in with much. However, they never "found" the paperwork. On the other hand, the county that our kids came from gave quarterly reimbursement. When I reported the condition and amount of clothes (or lack of them) they approved $100 each, even though 2 of them had already had their allottment spent. Very nice of them. It took about 4 weeks for the check to come in.

We were told we would get an emergency check of $150 to get clothes- honestly that really isnt enough but its a start. I have been shopping sales for a while now, getting just a few peices here and there in all age ranges so when we do get placements, if they dont have enough clothes with them at least they will have something to hold us over a few days... IT doesnt go bad- and I keep the tags and reciepts- if I need to return them I can!

We got a placement of two boys last week, and supposedly we will be reimbursed $50 for each. They just came with the clothes they had on, and one had no shoes.

Ours have varied by county. With one placement we received $100.00 a quarter automatically. With our second we received $50.00 twice a year (after filling out a verification card!)

From the county, we got $60 for a newborn and $113 for a 8 year old. Only good at Target.
Our agency gave us an additional $100 for each child, reimbursed. |
