Something new??
I don't know if this is new... I don't remember it being there before... perhaps it was and I just don't remember... anyways...
On TARE, there is a link to the Adoption Family Network (on one of the side buttons), which leads you to another set of side buttons, click on the one that says "Register NOW" and it takes you to a registration form. This form is for those in the state looking to adopt Texas kids and is on a database that only DFPS staff see. Well, here's a quote from their "About AFN" page: "AFN brings approved adoptive families with a current home study to the attention of DFPS staff and increases the placement options for Texas waiting children." Just thought that someone out there might want to know.
