Well how does the saying go? Be careful for what you wish for?

No only kidding.

We have been contacted and have already accept to take 2 little girls they are 3 & 4 they will be legal risk. Termination is scheduled for Jan 05. This is what we have been waiting for. We have been foster/adoptive parents for almost 4 years now. This has been the 1st legal risk placement we have been offered. Out of the 10 children we have had in our home.

All sounds wonderful and we are very excited. Now for the rest of the story........... We have a 14 month adopted son (private adoption) and a 4 month old foster baby that we will hopefully adopt as soon as termination happens in Jan 05 ( mom already relinquished just need dad to do the same should not be hard he is in prison). She initally was a foster placement but has turned into legal risk also.

SO that brings is to the point where we would have 4 children in our home hopefully adopted that are 4 years old and under!!!!!!

We are very excited I guess just alittle nervous. They will be here monday. Let the games begin

I know how you feel LOL I have a 19 month old, just 2 year old and just 3 year old - IT'S AWESOME (as well as 15, 16, and 20 y/o)

Watch what you PRAY for!!! I have always prayed for a beautiful brown eyed baby with dimples and ringlets. That is exactly what we got in our first plaement that was legal risk. SHe was 2 days old. We will be adopting her very soon, after 33 months.

My husband and I have been trying for 10 years to have a baby. After miscarriages, 2 ectopics where I lost a set of twins and a singleton, and a failed private adoption, we were so very thrilled to finally have a baby in our home. Well, here we are. We have not only my 2 bio children (son almost 20 and daughter almost 18) as well as our fd who is 33 months, and a set of twins who are 8 months. We may very well be getting the sibling of the twins due to be born in Jan. These babies may NOT go back home and they literally have no family other than the bmom and the bfather, who is planning to agree to his termination. SO we will have 6 children, 4 under the age of 4. WHAT A BLESSING !!! GOD answers all prayers, sometimes just not the answer we want. It's great when we get the answer we wanted.

Wow you must really be busy with all those kiddos and that age range holy smokes...

Yanknrebel I know waht you mean about praying for your special brown eyed baby. I always wanted little girls with long blond hair blue or green eyes...... well I have them now! I have also been through IF treatments 3 IVF cycles with my own eggs and one DE cycle all with 3 m/c. So my family now is such a WONDEFUL blessing. I guess this is just the path the Lord chose for me. Honestly I could not be happier.

Just to update the girls arrived monday evening they are doing great really never skipped a beat. Came in the house started playing and when it iwas bedtime they went straight down they have both slept through the night both nights. They walked into the new daycare on tues told the director we have 2 babies and went on their way. Go figure... I wish I could be so easy going with change. But trust me these are our 9th and 10th foster placements so I know all about the " honeymoon period'. But it is wonderful at the moment.

They asked me what I wanted them to call me I asked them what they wanted to call me they both said Momma..... hard to not just squeeze the fire out of them with that.
