Question Adoption subsidy &/or SSi payments

New to this whole "thread" thing, but what you are doing is FANTASTIC! PLEASE keep it up.. my question for anybody who can help is this.. I am therapeutic foster mom whose grandchildren came into care after I became licensed. I had to quit my job to care for them due to severe emotional disturbances. One already receives ssi (which understandably goes to state for reimburement of care, state has applied for ssi for another. anyway, they are now wanting me to adopt them, which I am happy to do, but still can not go back to work until they are more stable. I am single Mom of their Aunt who is 16. Does anybody know if I am eleigible for the adoption subsidy, will we also recieve the SSI disability payments. Not trying to be greedy, just want to be sure I can care for them until I am able to return to work...
