does medicaid pay for allergy testing?
Hello, does anyone know if texas medicaid pays for allergy testing? I called a pediatric allergist's office here in town and was told that medicaid does not pay for testing until the child is 4 years old! What are we supposed to do in the meantime?
If anyone could share information or a weblink or something where I could find out for certain, I'd appreciate it. Thanks!!

I am nearly positive that medicaid will pay for anything medical. Allergy testing will definitely be covered.
We have had great results by putting the kids on Claritin every single day whether they have symptoms or not. No allergies in several weeks! They are 2 and 3.
