Any e-pals or amom groups in san antonio area?
Hi everyone! I'm looking for adoptive moms in Texas and the san antonio area to become e-pals with or even to meet and have a weekly (or bi-monthly or monthly) mommy group with. Many of the groups (such as MOPS) in the San Antonio area are geared more towards bio moms. A few members who have posted on the MOPS website said they were the only adoptive mom in their group. I don't feel comfortable going into that kind of scenario. One of the reasons I enjoy this site so much is that we share a common experience in adoption. We have experiences that most bio moms wouldn't understand or we wouldn't feel comfortable sharing. Please don't feel I am being exclusionary. I have friends who are bio moms and they are dear to me but their experience of becoming moms is very different from mine. So, I am looking for other adoptive moms to get to know and, hopefully, forge friendships with. If anyone knows of any local groups or e-pals that would be interested in becoming friends, I'd love to hear about them (or from them). ![]() |

We're starting the adoptive process and are going to look for an agency in San ANtonio. We live in Corpus, but once we get through with the process, would love to e-pal.
Do you have any recommendations of agencies in San ANtonio? |
