Hi everyone! I'm looking for adoptive moms in Texas and the san antonio area to become e-pals with or even to meet and have a weekly (or bi-monthly or monthly) mommy group with. Many of the groups (such as MOPS) in the San Antonio area are geared more towards bio moms. A few members who have posted on the MOPS website said they were the only adoptive mom in their group. I don't feel comfortable going into that kind of scenario. One of the reasons I enjoy this site so much is that we share a common experience in adoption. We have experiences that most bio moms wouldn't understand or we wouldn't feel comfortable sharing.
Please don't feel I am being exclusionary. I have friends who are bio moms and they are dear to me but their experience of becoming moms is very different from mine.
So, I am looking for other adoptive moms to get to know and, hopefully, forge friendships with. If anyone knows of any local groups or e-pals that would be interested in becoming friends, I'd love to hear about them (or from them).

We're starting the adoptive process and are going to look for an agency in San ANtonio. We live in Corpus, but once we get through with the process, would love to e-pal.

Do you have any recommendations of agencies in San ANtonio?
