Does anyone know if a credit report from a credit bureau is used during a home study?

Thanks for your reply. I'm new to the adoption process and wasn't sure if agencies in Texas run credit reports.

I don't believe it is a requirement and in both of our adoption homestudies, it was never done. We were asked to make a list of our obligations and show a monthly budget though.
