Question Hope Cottage

Has anyone worked with Hope Cottage in Dallas? My husband and I are just starting on our path to adoption and have met with them and felt very comfortable with them. We have received information packets on several agencies and are still trying to decide which one to use. We live in the Dallas area, but are willing to use any agency. We are still trying to decide if we want to adopt domestically or int'l (Nepal or China). Any insight anyone could provide would be greatly apppreciated.

Our little one was adopted through Hope Cottage. We have been thrilled. It was a domestic open adoption. Our son came home almost a year ago. We were absolutely thrilled. I would absolutely use them again. Hope this helps.

Hope Cottage

My husband and I are in Dallas, also. In fact, we have an orientation meeting with someone at Hope Cottage tomorrow. We are interested in the Families Now! program. The fees are very manageable. Also, one of my coworkers adopted a child through them in a domestic open adoption and have nothing but good things to say. I'm looking forward to meeting them tomorrow. I'll keep you posted to let you know how it goes.

Good luck. We went through the Families Now program and were extremely happy with Hope Cottage and how it all came together. Our son came home in May 2003. We hadn't been in the program very long. Please feel free to contact me at my e-mail address if you have any questions or if I can answer anything for you.

Thumbs up

Angsnav,
I was adopted from Hope Cottage about 30 years ago and have nothing but positive things to say. I am looking at them as a source for either national or international adoption b/c of my parent's expereince with them.
