Finding a birth parent

Even though I was a grown woman with children of my own, it did hurt. I only wanted to thank her for the great life she gave to me when she gave me up. I also wanted to inquire about my birth father. I just wanted to say this to anyone who's interested in locating birth parents. It might not be a pleasant experience.

How right you are. I am rapidly approaching 50. Found my birth family and not a pleasant experience. My aunt was especially nasty. I have 5 half siblings and my aunt and granny will not tell me where they are.
One sister did say "I already have two sisters, I don't need another one" OUCH!!! this just happened a week ago. Thank dear God in Heaven for my "real" parents who raised me to be an honest and decent human being, not like some folks - who shall remain nameless.

I was prepared for a disappointment, as all should be, but I was blessed with another family that welcomed me with open arms.
