Finding a birth parent
I found my birthmother in Dallas, Texas about 10 years ago. It was quite an experience. I did make contact with her via the telephone and she requested that I never call her again and hung up on me. Even though I was a grown woman with children of my own, it did hurt. I only wanted to thank her for the great life she gave to me when she gave me up. I also wanted to inquire about my birth father. I just wanted to say this to anyone who's interested in locating birth parents. It might not be a pleasant experience.

Thank dear God in Heaven for my "real" parents who raised me to be an honest and decent human being, not like some folks - who shall remain nameless.

I was prepared for a disappointment, as all should be, but I was blessed with another family that welcomed me with open arms.
