Hi there. I saw your post and wondered if you could help me. I am looking for my birth parents. I was a blue-eyed baby girl born on 06/24/69 in Dallas, TX. I don't know any of the specifics concerning my birth including birth weight and time of birth. My adoptive parents have never offered any assistence with my search. I don't know why the Chronicle told you that! Their website is accessible, and while you have to pay to browse the archives, I'm sure it would be worth it in your case! Go to www.chron.com and do a search of their archives to see if you can find your daughter's announcement. Of course, until you see her, you won't know if the face matches the photo. Short of having her mail you copies of her birth certificate and driver's license, I'm not sure what you could do to guarantee this is your daughter.

I am helping my daughter find her birth mom. She was born in Dallas, Texas. The hospital at that time was the Stevens Park Osteopathic Hospital. Her last name was Johnson and birth moms father worked at the post office.

It was a private adoption through a lawyer by the name of Burt Barr. Her birth date is 7/4/72.
