My birthdate is 7/10/67 and I am searching for my birth mom or anyone that may be family. I was born at Northshore Hospital in Houston Tx...Harris county. I know that my mother was only 15 at the time and I was delivered by Dr. Schwartz. Adopted by a couple in Louisiana...she may or may not know where my adoptive parents were from. I have alot of information but no names. I was recently contacted by someone thru email with birth certificate numbers...I accidently deleted the email...please contact me again. Any help would be appreciated. I am in the process of petitioning the court for my records. I know for a fact that my last name is on the final decree of adoption...but it can not be released to me...my copy has the last name blacked out.

I have some new information on the search for my birth mother. I have your name...Linda Harris... again you were only 15 or 16 at the time of my birth in houston texas. Just today I gained access to my file with the clerk of courts office all it had was your name, address and a few letters from the court and final adoption decree. Now we will be filing for the opening of the attorneys files on my adoption. So Linda...if you are out there your daughter is looking.

Thanks for everyone's help and support. I have found all family members except my father...and no one has any idea where he is.I have spent the weekend talking with one of my full brothers, ( I have 2 of them) step father, and finally after the shock wore off...my birth mom. To everyone out there searching...bring it to court and don't give up...that is how I got the information that led to my husband finding them for me. My birth mom was told I was stillborn so she never knew I existed until yesterday morning. She has spent 37 years morning for me, and said she would have been looking if she had known I was still alive. So please don't think that no one is looking because they haven't found you...it might be because they didn't know you could be found.
