I would like to know if the later years(the 80s) birth records list the adopted baby twice...once, with the birthmother, and then again, with the adoptive parents, in the Austin micro film birth records.
So, if this is true, and you know the birthmother's name, then finding the original birth certificate is easy....in Austin, but not online. Because, all the TX births are listed in alphabetical order,in Austin, and not by the date. And, if you do not have a the birthmother's name, then you must read every birth, in TX birth records, from A-Z, looking for the birthdate and sex of child...in the year of the child's birth. How long would that take? (years???)
