Right...the adoptees are listed by adopted last names.... These indexes really help the birthparent searching more than the adoptee...

Its a pain, but search by DoB.

You can ctrl+f and it will open the "Find" option...search each page for your DoB...in some instances, you can find the listing for the child as

Inf of, Smith Bob

and you'll have the names...

This is a crap shoot tho...it isnt ALWAYS there...but I have found it before

thanks

I started to do that and there were so many females with my birthdate I felt a little overwhelmed. I totally agree with your statement about family. I have wonderful adoptive parents that have been incredibly supportive. I love them so much. " I didn't grow under her heart but in it." Thank you for your concern. I am searching for my ** to tell her how much I appreciate her decision to give me up. I have had a fantastic life and am now consideriing working for a local crisis center that is opening up an adoption advocacy center. I would love to tell people how wonderful adoption has been for me and how hat they can better help adoptees cope with the unanswered questions that can sometimes hinder there growth as a person.

I found my birthmom and have written her a letter. Unfortunately I have not heard from her yet. I know that it is going to take some time especially since she isn't searching right now. I love her for what she did for me so I don't care if it takes forever it won't change my feelings. I don't want her to feel forced, thats not real love. I have a wonderful life and have accomplished my ultimate goal to tell her I am grateful.

Question She was the wrong one

Hi everyone,
I posted a message on 6-14 about finding my birthmother and her not responding. Well it turns out that she is not the right cynthia. I am dissappointed ,but not discouraged. If anyone is willing to help me find out where the real one is I would love some advice or help. I have alot of non-identifying information.
Thanks,
Alica:confused
