This may sound a bit unbelievable, but I have two friends (who do know each other) and several years ago both of them asked me if I could help them search for their birth mother/father. The have the same exact date of birth of May 2, 1949. Funny thing is they both are blonde and blue/green eyes. One is talk, other short. One is female, the other male. Both grew up in San Antonio. The female shows she was born in Dallas at St. Paul's Hospital as baby girl Barry w/birthmom name as Jean Barry. The male, bc shows he was born at Baptist Children's Hospital in San Antonio, birthmom name shows Elizabeth Hill. The baby girl Barry certificates shows birthmom from California, but the baby boy Hill certificate shows out of state only. The baby girl Barry certificate is only signed by the birthmom. The baby boy Hill certificate is signed by Elizabeth Hill and her mother, Mrs. R.P. Hil. I have the females birth certificate, but have misplaced my copy of the male's. The females cert number is 60720, filed May 5, 1949, and a second date after adoption? on jun 9, 1949. Dr. W.D. McDonald. Registrars file number 44. I am a 27 yr old female born in Austin Texas. BMom was between 15 and 17 in 1981. I have her name at the time of adoption. I used to have a picture of her and do not look like her at all. I was told she wasnt sure of who my bfather was but Im sure i look more like him. any help you could offer would be great. thx!

Greetings Search Angels. I'm searching on behalf of my dad who was born July 28, 1947 in Dawson Co. TX. We do not know the names of his birth parents. I've picked up so many good tips from this site, but have a few questions. I've performed a search of the vital statistics for Dawson County and have found 1 boy that was born the same day as my father and one boy that was born 5 days earlier, but has the same first and middle name as my father. I've seen reference to checking "the book in Austin" to see if the birth certificate numbers match. What book is this and what office in Austin?
