We are looking for the birth parents of a male child born on or about Apr 10, 1964. The adoption was handled through Child and Family Service Inc. (which I believe no longer exists) in Austin, TX. The adoption was finalized on Dec 23, 1964. Child may have been born in San Antonio but not sure.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Have U sent off for Ur non-identifying info from Texas Health yet? U can also send in a reply for reuniting thru them.
Do U know Ur birth certificate #?....it stays the same. I can look but I do not have all the resources that search angels have. I can also tell my wonderful search angels about U and they may help.

I have got some non id information from the childrens home i was in before adoption but it isnt much, just basic descriptions. I am looking for my birth certificate, i had it but cant find it now but im sure ill have it soon. I would appreciate help from any search angels that are willing. thank you. just let me know what info you need.

Post Ur gender, DOB, city, state and county and usually a search angel will see it and take off on it for U. The first question they asked me was is _____________ Ur birth certificate #. And they go with it from there.

I have been looking for my brother as soon as I found out, when my mother passed away 8 years ago this month. All I know is that it was a boy, and that Dr. Begley arranged the adoption and that a couple in Mesquite, TX adopted him. I have guessed that he had to be born sometime between 2/63 -7/64. I have also guessed that he was probably born in Dallas East General Hospital (which by the way this hospital changed its name 4 or 5 times, before it closed down in 68). I had a brother, born in 65, that I was raised w/ delivered by the same Dr. in this hospital. My grandpa is the only relative that I have left on that side of the family, he is now 92, and has asked me to find my brother. He doesn't remember much, except looking in the nursery window at the baby, then the nurse taking him away and he was never mentioned again until I brought it up in 1996. Dr. Begely has retired and his records were sent to another Dr. and has since been distroyed. I called Austin about the Hospital records, and they told me that they do not have record as to where the hospital records were forwarded. I have looked in news papers for that time period to see if someone may have anounced having a new addition to the family, but the only one that I found did not respond. I do not know where to turn....could you please help. I periodically look on differant sites to see if I see anything familiar, to see if he may be looking for me....but no such luck.

I understand your plight! I am the adoptee of a private adoption, I know the doctor name, the lawyers name, and the hospital. My AMom took a name with her to her grave.

Keep going!!! I don't know the rules surrounding family members and the registeries but I am sure some one will respond to your question.

i am looking for my sister that our mother put up for adoption in aug 25 75. I know that she was born in Houston Texas at St.joesph. was adopted out of catholic charties. birth name jeniffer michille. ** name Cheryl Jones bf name Les Wilkerson.
Our mother passed away in 97 have been seaching seens 96. mother was desprate to find before she passed but was unable to find anything. please if you can help.

Thank God for search angels....I am trying to locate my son....He was born 02-21-79, Austin, Texas, Travis County, at St.David's Hospital....The only info that I can obtain is 5 boys born on this day...3 of them are hispanic...1 of them was born a twin,...and the other most probable boy, was last known living in Missouri.... His name would be David Ryan Birmingham....The Social Service that the adoption was handled through is being very very uncooperative....however, they will do the search for me is I pay them about 500 big ones....Of course, it would be easy for them to do the search, they have all the info...they are hesitant in even sending me non-id info...Any suggestions....Thanks for your help....SassyLou

Whatever state is Mo. Now I feel like a big dum... lol, yes he is in Sainte Genevieve or Ste Genevieve. He is up in the birth indexes I looked him up found his name. Now all you have to do is go through information & ask for Missouri and go for it! He should pop up inthe listings. If he doesn't then go through google and seach for his name. Have you tried all the registers? If you have any problems let me know I will see if I can do a Missouri search for you. In fact I will do a quick check for you right now.
