I am searching for my half sister born in Knoxville, TN in Aug of 1971. The year could be 72' I am not really sure. My mother was one of 13 children, born in May of 1954. She was a resident of the Florence Crittendon Home for Un-Wed Mothers in Knoxville and met a woman named Janie Elizabeth during her stay. They became good friends and my mom called her first born girl by the same name. She was adopted out at birth to a family who later moved to Florida, so I've been told. My mom died in a car accident in Feb of 1988 and left no records. My family has never stopped thinking about "Janie" and hope that someone will recognize this information.
