in Tallahassee and looking to adopt for the first time
Are there any support groups around here or a place to go to for information? We're just starting the process and are still looking at different agencies. Any help would be very much appreciated. Thanks!

Hi, I know it's a bit late , but I was wondering if you got the answers you needed? We are also looking to adopt for the first time too, and we went to our MAPP classes in Tallahassee. We are done with everything now and are just waiting for approval. Are you adopting from the state or through a private agency?

Started MAPP June 2, 2007 Finished MAPP June 30,2007 First homestudy visit August 10, 2007 Second Visit August 17, 2007 canceled Second visit September 4, 2007 Sept. 27, 2007 CW told me to redo my fingerprints, said they were rejected for some reason(did them the first time in JUNE !!! it took her this long to tell me they had to be redone !!!) Oct. 1, 2007 redid fingerprints, waiting on results to come back so CW can submit homestudy for approval Waiting for approval Approved 12/07 Hoping to be matched!!! Looking for kids on the photolistings

thanks- we got all our questions answered- we're now with an adoption agency and are approved and waiting as of 9/27
waiting is tough! thanks for your reply!

Can I ask which agency you are working with and you decided? WE are debating on using an out of state one.
