i recently just had a bday and i'm adopted and i'm glad to hear that you all think of your child you gave up on their bday. I always wondered if my birthmother thought of me but especailly on my birthday. looking at your responses I know somewhere she does think of me on my bday each yr and hopefully she'll find me one day. Although I cannot completely understand because I have not walked your exact journey ...I do understand on one level because I am the birthmom to a four year old daughter in a fully, very open adoption. I know what it is like to see my little girl open her presents on her birthdays with joy, and yet feel sadness in my heart.
