I Got to Wish My Son Happy 38th Birthday

It's his first birthday since we reunited. What a wonderful feeling to actually be able to wish him a happy birthday and let him know I'm thinking of him. I think he's happy about that too.

Wow, that first birthday in reunion is so very special, isn't it?!!! What a blessing that we can actually wish our children a "Happy Birthday" over the phone or face to face, instead of spending the day wondering if they're alive or not.

Before I reunited with my son, I used to visit the hospital where he was born on his birthdays...and I would look at all the newborns thru the nursery window. The weird thing is that I later found out that his adad was doing the same thing during those years, hoping he would run into me. His dad was working at the hospital where DS was born. When I reunited with my son, he, too, was working at the same hospital. It's a small world...
