Seems to me if you are going to cheat, then you should forfeit that game. I doubt the Jets would have won anyway, but to me losing a draft pick for cheating isn't all that big of a deal. However, having a loss on your record that can affect your chances of getting to the SuperBowl...that makes a difference, imo.

What really gets me is they didn't NEED to cheat...they were the better team by all accounts so ?????

It is so UPSETTING to me as a PATS fan that they did this...plus the Rodney Harrison HGH thing....arrggh! You are right, Crick, so unnecessary which makes it especially shady! And losing a draft pick or two doesn't seem to be "enough" punishment.

Tmom, what day are you coming up here? It is really going to be a "clash of the titans," I think!! Are you staying at a hotel or with friends? So jealous!

I leave the West Coast Thursday night on a red eye so I get in on Friday morning. Friday and Sunday night I'll stay with friends and Saturday night I'll stay in the city after the Sox/Yankees game.

Honestly, they should consider doing what they do in college....forfeit the season. Now that's a hefty penalty!!! I like the Pats too, since my dad grew up near Boston and I grew up rooting for them too, so it's just sad to see it with a team I have always liked!

From what I read, they are suspected of having done the same during a Packers game last season. Makes me wonder how long they have been doing it and did they just now get caught. I agree...if all they are going to do is lose a draft pick then what is to stop they from doing it in the future? The bad thing for them is that now it will put every Pats win...past and future...in question. If they have that much talent, why?

I didn't see the Cinci/Cleveland game...didn't air here in my area...but we watched the score every time it scrolled on the bottom of the screen...thought they were running basketball scores! We watched Indy...woo hoo! Also, the Packers win...I will always hold a warm spot in my heart for Brett Farve.

We don't need to talk about our Seahawks...they must have been having an off week or something...they stunk!

Don't know where the Bengals Defense was this weekend. Perhaps the same place the Chargers defense was?

We had friends over to watch the Donco game so had a fun time. The game was suspended for about 20 minutes due to lightning and when they game back it was like the OOmph was gone from our team. Luckily we found some back at the last minute and won the game. I've rarely seen a "freeze the kicker" method work, but sure did yesterday! WHooo! LOL!

We only got the last 4 min of the Jets game on the plane, but what a 4 min it was! 'Cept they didn't win
