Hi there. I am a birthmom. I am in so much pain at this moment due to it being the holidays. I wish that I felt better. My son will turn 11 in January and I still hurt like he was just born. How do I deal with this? I miss him so much and want to feel better.

Welcome Kitty. You have come to a good place. You'll find lots of support here, you're not alone.
I'm a birthmom too. I placed my DD in a closed adoption 18 years ago. I have my ups and downs. Since I've been here I finally realized I am not alone. (((hugs)))

Kitty, I find that talking about it always helps. It doesn't take away all of the pain but it helps to ease the pain from being so raw.
Welcome.

Welcome,
My daughter is 6 now and I get the same way. I come here more often when I start feeling sad. |
