I am a mother of a five year old. Her biofather has decided not to see her and also has decided that he wants to sign over his rights. Since the news that his fourth child(with another woman) is on the way now, he says my daughter is just a "financial burdon". I want him to sign over his rights and want this done the fastest and cheapest way possible so that my husband now can adopt her. What do I do and how do I go about it .
Anything you can do to help is much appreciated. Last edited by MrsGroves1 : 02-28-2003 at 04:11 PM. |

Did you get an answer to your question?
Call the Juvenille division of your local courthouse and ask for the adoption division. The clerks there can help you get started.
