I married my husband 1yr and 4months ago. He took on my 2 children and I. Since then he has became a great dad to my kids they love and respect him a great deal. Their bio dad hasn't ever really been around only when it was convient for him. He has since gotten visitation to my daughter but not my son. My husband would love for both children to have his last name is there a way this can be done without bio dad's permission? His name is on my daughters birth certificate but not sons, it's only since I got married that he has even had an interest in my daughter it's all out of spite, and he has never paid any childsupport even though there has been an order since 96 for him to pay. Have any good advise? My husband is the best thing to ever happen to my kids and I he has taken on a great deal of responsibility and loves them like they are his. They call him dad not their bio dad,dad. He's the only person they consider DAD and it takes alot more to be a father than to just make the baby. Need some leagal advise if you can help please reply!!!!
