My husband wants to adopt my daughter, who he has been raising since she was two weeks old! That is the only daddy she has ever known! Her bio dad ran as soon as I muttered the words "I'm pregnant"! As of right now she will be 4 in September, and her bio dad will not be out of prison until 2012. She will be 14! I tried to let him have something to do with her, but he always said she's not mine and she doesn't look like me! Which is probably what they all say! I don't have the money for the adoption but we both want to do it before she starts school! We reside in Georgia! Please we need all the advice we can get. thank you
