My daughter is 4yrs. old and her biological father doesn't want anything to do with her my now husband has been w/us since she was 3months old he loves her just as she was his own and her biological father has said he would sign over rights and everything the problem is why does adoption cost so much when one person loves you more than life its self and the other don't even care what you look like or how your doing??? Is there a way to do this w/out having to pay out money that you really don't have for the sake of this precious little angel and the question (WHY) does someone do this to the own flesh and blood.

I know exactly where you are coming from. My daughters father hasn't had much to do with her except when it was convient for him up until about 6months ago. I've been married now for a little over a yr. and her daddy is my husband eventhough she's 7 now she knows that being a daddy is alot more than saying you are. My husband loves her as his own and would like to adopt both of my children but the bio. father refuses to sign over his rights and it's only because he knows that we are finally happy and he's not apart of that happiness. I hope everything works out for you GOOD LUCK!!!
