I am having a hard time finding the petition for adoption in Washington state. I am trying to adopt my stepdaughter. We have already completed the termination of parental rights, but I cannot afford the $500+ for the adoption papers to be drawn up. I was hoping someone might have them that they could copy, then black out, so I can type them up. I have all the form requirements, just not the text to go into them.

Alternatively, if you know where I might get them for little or no cost in Washington state that would be greatly appreciated.

If the courthouse does not have copies of the forms available then you are going to have to wait, and save up the money. I searched online for quite sometime the other day for you and could not find any downloadable forms for Washington State for you.

You already have the TPR completed, that is the hard part, take a few months to save up the money, and then have the forms drawn up.
