Just Curious
I was just wondering if anyone out there had been to court, judge denied the adoption, but ignored laws to do so, and then appealed and won on appeal?

Appeals are tough to win. This is definitely something that you will want to speak with several different attournies in your area about. Getting the decision of a well respected official, a judge, overturned is a risky and tricky business for the other officials involved. You will have to find someone willing to take the case, as well as have to prove without a doubt that the judge did not stay within the contents of the law to deny the decision. Take into consideration that a certain amount of the decision in many states is left up to the judge's descretion regarding adoption laws.
