I just received an email from our attorney last night. They have sent a letter to my ex husbands attorney asking for him to voluntarily sign his rights away. He has refused to do this in the past because he thinks of DD as a piece of property. DD is happy and she wants DH to be her daddy!!

Please, please, please sign his rights away!! Please, please, please let this go smoothly!!!

My Ex-husbands attorney was given given a deadline of 10/13 to respond. Tomorrow is the 13th!! So far no word. That's good, right??

I want to call my Attorney's Assistant so bad but I'm trying to wait until Monday...I don't want to jinx this!!

Well, I left a message for my attorney's assistant this morning and never heard back. So, either there has been no word and she didn't call back because she didn't want to jinx it OR she was out today.

I called back at about 4:30 and the receptionist said they had already left for the day. I will call back on Monday morning. I hope my attorney's office didn't hear anything back!!!

My Attorney will send me emails in the middle of the night and he even called me on a Sunday. If they did hear anything then there is a possibility the Attorney will send word this weekend.

No news is good news, right????

We got home from our Brownie Meeting tonight and DH told me to check the voicemail. HE called!! My DD father called, the last time he called was back in March!!

I can't get ahold of my attorney right now because it is late. I am so angry, scared and upset!! DD has made huge improvments since HE has been out of her life! She is finally acting like a normal 7 year old and she's happy!! I think he has gotten wind of trying to have his rights terminated, this has to be the only reason!!

I don't know what this means! His Attorney never responded to my attorney by the 13th, I have all of this evidence against him...I have the CPS investigation on him, the Police Department records on him even positive drug tests!

Does anyone have some crystal ball to look into and tell me that everything will be fine?? Tell me I will be able to terminate his rights so I can finally protect my daughter??

I just want this fear of not knowing the outcome to go away!! I want to stop crying!! DD deserves to be happy, she has been through enough!!

Sorry for the ramblings...I just didn't know where to turn...
